Description

Dewmead Farmhouse is a farmhouse that features characteristics from the mid-17th century, and it may have an earlier core. The building is constructed with a timber frame and has roughcast walls, topped with a plain tile roof. There is a painted brick plinth at the base. The farmhouse has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys high, with three 19th to 20th century glazing bar casements. A central door is located beneath an L-shaped red brick ridge stack that has an arris on the front face. At the rear, there is a central projection with a half hipped roof and a lean-to on the southern side.
