Description

This is a late medieval building, now divided into two cottages located at 77 and 78 Tilehouse Street. The structure is timber-framed with a steeply pitched tiled roof and a rebuilt chimney stack. The front of the building is faced with plaster and brickwork. However, the upper floor of number 77 has exposed vertical timbers with plaster infilling. Numbers 70 to 75, numbers 77 and 78, and numbers 81 to 84 form a group.
