Description

Offley Green Farm House is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, altered and extended in the 20th century. The house is timber-framed with a brick addition, all rendered, and has a thatched roof. It has a lobby entry plan with four bays arranged in three cells. The house is one storey high with an attic. The front elevation features a two-storey projecting porch to the left of centre, with a 20th-century two-light flush frame timber casement window on the first floor, and an entrance in the left return. Two bays to the right and one bay to the left have horizontal sliding sash windows. There are two-light dormers in the roof. A ridge stack is located behind the porch. The roof is hipped to the left, covering an outshut addition, and half-hipped to the right end with a ground floor conservatory, containing a three-light casement window. A horizontal sliding sash window is present to the rear. A three-bay late 20th-century wing is attached to the rear at a right angle.
