Description
The buildings at 59 and 61 High Street date from the late 15th or early 16th century. The ground floor is colour-washed brick, while the upper floor is plaster-faced and oversails on exposed corbels. The building is one storey high with attics, and has an old tiled roof with two gabled dormers. The ground floor includes a 19th-century shop front and a canted oriel sash bay window on the right-hand side. Nos 29 to 67 (odd) and No 45A form a group.
