Description

The London Coal Duty Marker, located on the district boundary about 350 meters northeast of Wild Farm in Radlett, dates back to 1861. It was cast by H. Grissell at the Regents Canal Ironworks. This marker is a cast-iron square pier with chamfered corners and a pyramid top. It remains unpainted and features the City of London crest on its necking. The front face displays the inscription '24 + 25 VIC CAP 4'.
