Description

A pair of houses dating from around the 1840s, with later extensions. The houses are constructed of whitewashed brick, with a slate roof. They are designed in the Gothic style, with two storeys and three bays. Each house has a central, triangular projecting porch with a crenellated parapet. Pointed arches feature over the entrances, and the reveals are chamfered. On the ground floor to the right is a sash window with a chamfered reveal and a rounded head and drip mould. To the left, there is a three-light window with cusped heads, a chamfered reveal, and a drip mould. The first floor has a central raised blank panel with a cusped head and drip mould, flanked by two-light windows with pointed arched heads, moulded surrounds, and drip moulds. There are end stacks, with a lancet window on the stack to the right. A one-bay addition is set back to the left. The parapet is plain. The houses have been extended to the rear, and the interior has not been inspected.
