Description
The farm buildings at Fisher's Farm, located 30 meters north of the house, date back to the 16th century, with extensions and additions made in the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as a 19th-century stable. The structures feature a timber frame, dark weatherboarding, and red brick sills, with steep old red tile roofs. The south end of the ski range is the only part that is hipped.
The original 16th-century barn has three bays and includes heavy jowled posts, long curved arch-braces to the tie beams, and tension braces in the walls. The roof structure was rebuilt in the 19th century. The barn was extended to the east to create a seven-bay barn, which has a central gabled porch on the north side and a lower gabled porch with a smaller door on the south side leading to the yard. There is a lean-to on the south side to the right of the porch. The barn extension features a 17th-century butt-purlin roof, queen strut trusses without collars, jowled posts, long straight braces, and staggered rails in the walls.
To the southwest, there is a range of single-storey stables facing east, with a central single-storey granary that is raised up. The southeast range consists of single-storey stables facing west.
