Description

Two gravestones located 8 meters west of the north porch of the Church of All Saints in Hertford date from the 18th century. They are made of stone and fashioned from used millstones. The first gravestone bears the incised inscription: "Robert Fincher of this town, Millwright, died the third of March 1777 in the 86 year of his age." The second gravestone reads: "Elizabeth, Wife of Robert Fincher Millwright died the 18th July 1764 aged 60 years."
