Description
The Frampton Tomb is located in the churchyard of St Botolph's Church, south of the church near the west end of the nave. This tomb, dated 1789, is a stone tomb chest featuring inset baluster corners and a moulded top slab, dedicated to William Frampton, a merchant from the City of London. It is an 18th-century stone monument notable for its design and letter cutting. The tomb is surrounded by many 18th-century headstones, contributing to the picturesque character of the churchyard.
