Description
The stable at Alswick Hall, located 35 meters north of the hall, dates back to the 17th century and has undergone some later alterations. It features a timber frame that is roughcast, with some sections infilled by stuccoed brick. The building has a steep hipped roof, which is currently covered in corrugated iron. This long, single-storey structure consists of six structural bays and has a clasped-purlin roof supported by queen-strut and collar trusses. The stable faces west into the yard and includes six stable doors and windows. It is part of the old courtyard group associated with Alswick Hall.
