Description
The Coach House, formerly listed as the Stables of Aston House, is a building dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork with red stretchers and grey headers, along with red cutter brick band quoins and window arches. A large moulded brick cornice adorns the structure, which has a hipped tiled roof behind a parapet. At the center of the roof ridge is a wooden clock turret that supports an octagonal arcaded cupola and a wrought iron weather vane. The first floor has seven windows, four of which are blocked circular windows and three are oval. The ground floor has four round-headed windows, and there is a modern doorway on the right.
