Description
This is a terrace of four houses located at 99-105 Watton Road in Ware, dated 10 March 1829 on a panel below the eaves. The houses are constructed from Hitch Patent bricks and feature a low-pitched pantiled roof with a moulded brick cornice. The terrace stands two storeys high and includes a patterned brick cill band on the first floor, along with two cylindrical chimney stacks that have base and cap bands.
The front of the houses has four flush casement windows with glazing bars, set in patterned brick surrounds that alternate between plain and panelled bricks, framed by outer surrounds of narrow bricks. The first-floor window surrounds are flat-headed, while the ground-floor surrounds are cambered, accommodating the windows and doors.
