Description
Greensleeves is a house located in Sacombe, dating from the 17th century, with extensions and partial casing from the mid-18th century. It features a timber frame with brick casing on the front and sides, some areas are roughcast, and the entire building is colourwashed. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with tiles. The house consists of three cells and has a through passage, with one storey and an attic.
The entrance is positioned to the right of the center and includes a 20th-century panelled door and doorcase. To the left of the entrance is a glazing bar sash window, and to the right is a small pane horizontal sliding sash. Beyond a straight joint to the left, there is a two-light small pane casement window. All windows have flush frames with cambered heads. The house features three two-light gabled dormers and has a rendered plinth.
Internally, there is a red brick stack at the right end, while the left end has a brick ground floor with a glazing bar sash and a roughcast attic with a two-light casement. A catslide roof extends to the rear over a continuous lean-to outshut. The interior has not been inspected. This building was formerly known as the Green Man Public House.
