Description
Jepps Farm Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame set on a black painted plinth, with the ground floor cased in red brick and the front stuccoed, while the upper floor is dark weatherboarded. The cottage has a steep old red tile roof and is designed with a 2-storey, 2-cells, end-chimneys plan, located at the rear of Jepps farmstead and facing south. There are three structural bays. The south front includes French windows with a 2-light casement above in the middle bay, and a door to the right of a 3-light casement with a similar window above in the left bay. The eastern bay is lit on both floors from the rear wall, and there is a 4-light rear window for the first-floor room in the middle bay. Each end features a projecting gable chimney, and the interior has axial chamfered floor beams.
