Description
Glebe House is a rectory that has been converted into a house, built in 1738 on the site of an earlier rectory. It was named Glebe House by 1899. The building features a timber frame that is plastered, topped with a steep old red tile roof. This tall, square Georgian house has two storeys and attics, with a symmetrical south-facing front that includes three windows on each floor, a central door, and three hipped dormers. The doorcase is adorned with fluted pilasters and an ogee pattern rectangular Gothic fanlight. There is a lower service wing located at the northeast.
