Description

These are two garden urns located in the grounds of Flint House, 30 metres west of the house in Great Amwell. They date from the 18th century and are made of limestone. The urns are a pair with curved shapes, featuring swept square bases and fluted circular bodies. They are part of the garden layout designed by W. C. Mylne when he constructed Flint House between 1842 and 1844, and they may be attributed to the work of Robert Mylne. These urns are included for their group value.
