Description
The plinth for a statue is located on the east side of the entrance at Grange Farm. It dates from the 18th century and is associated with two statues, both dated 1741 and signed by Jan Van Logttaren. The plinth was brought from The Green Park, Aston Clinton around 1948. It is made of carved stone and is a square structure about 1 meter high, featuring rebated corners and a sunk front panel that transitions into an outswept base. The front panel is adorned with Rococo relief decoration. This plinth is included for its group value.
