Description

TRING RURAL PUTTENHAM SP 81 SE 3/137 Plinth for statue on - E side of entrance at Grange Farm GV II Plinth for statue. C18 (associated with 2 statues both dated 1741 and signed Jan Van Logttaren). Brought with statues from The Green Park, Aston Clinton c.1948. Carved stone. A square plinth about 1M high with rebated corners and sunk front panel dying into outswept base with Roccoco relief decoration in panel. Included for group value.
