Description

The Boote is a house of 1605, located on Castle Street. The ground floor is rendered with stucco, while the first floor is timber-framed and plastered. It has a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high with three first-floor casement windows incorporating glazing bars. Four ground floor canted bay windows are set beneath a continuous frieze and cornice, with glazing bars to the bay window on the left. A date of 1605 is inscribed on the front of the building.
