Description

27 and 29 Queensway are early 19th century buildings constructed of yellow brick with flush red brick quoins and a Welsh slated roof. They stand three storeys tall and feature red brick eaves courses. The first floor has two sash windows with glazing bars, segmentally arched panels, and round windows. There is a modern shop front at the ground level. To the right, there is a 16th century wing that includes a carriageway and a plaster-faced timber-framed first floor with glazing bars on the sash window, topped by a gable and an old tiled roof. Nos 23 to 29 (odd) and Nos 16 and 18 High Street form a group.
