The pump and lamp post numbered 5036 is a cast-iron obelisk erected by public subscription in 1848, with James Cross serving as Bailiff. It was cast by Joseph Cranston of Hemel Hempstead. At the top, it is surmounted by a post adorned with four console scrolls, which supports a lantern with a finial.
