Description

Stagg Shoes is a 17th-century timber-framed building that has been stuccoed in the 19th century. It features an old tiled roof and retains the remains of an old red brick stack on the north side. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a one-window west elevation, showcasing a jettied first floor supported by curved brackets. There is a canted shop bay window with a horizontal sash window inside, along with a sash window on the first floor. The south gable end displays an early 20th-century ornamental bargeboard, a first-floor sash window, and an attic casement. Additionally, there is a late 19th-century weatherboarded rear extension.
