Description

Myddleton House is a late 17th or early 18th century house that was refaced in the mid-19th century, now occupied by modern shops. It has a steep-pitched roof covered in old tiles. The house is two storeys high with three gabled attics. A wooden modillioned cornice is topped with leaf-carved scroll brackets. Three canted windows are set on the first floor, each featuring cusp-headed panels designed to imitate Tudor detailing. The entrance hall dates back to the early 18th century and features a mutuled cornice.
