Description

The Round House, also known as The Lodge, is a former lodge cottage dating from around 1800. It features a timber frame with plaster and 20th-century pargetting. The building has an octagonal shape topped with a thatched roof and a central octagonal brick chimney. Each of the eight sides has a two-light casement window topped with a glazed semi-circular arch. The front door is similarly designed, with a glazed semi-circular fanlight above it.
