Old Forge is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with a weatherboarded dado. The building has a thatched half-hipped roof and is one storey high with attics. There is a single-storey thatched extension on the east side, which is made of painted brick. The windows include modern and 19th-century casements.
