Description

North House is an early 18th century timber-framed and weather-boarded house located on the south-east side of Cambridge Road in Stansted Mountfitchet. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. At the center, there is a doorway with a later gabled porch, which has an original moulded architrave and console brackets. A single-storey addition with one window range extends from the south-west end of the house. The roofs are tiled.
