Description
Folly Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a gabled crosswing at the east end. The front has a four-window range of 19th-century vertical sliding sashes, with sidelights on three of the windows; the central window does not have sidelights. There is a Doric porch with a pediment, and a ground floor bay window that has a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. An original red brick chimney stack is present, although it has been partly rebuilt at the top.
