Description

Nicholls Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a half-hipped peg tile roof. At the rear, there is a lean-to buttery and pantry range. The front of the house has three windows, which are early 19th-century double-hung sashes with small panes and plain surrounds, complemented by a decorative mid-19th-century porch. The building includes a small, red brick, off-centre ridge line stack and a larger stack located in the lean-to block. Inside, the roof has side purlins and halved and bladed scarf joints.
