Description

Moat Cottage is a 16th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the north side of Tye Green in Elsenham. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with leaded casements. The outer bays, each containing one window, are jettied on the upper storey, supported by exposed joists. The roof is thatched and hipped over the jettied end bays.
