Tye Green Cottage is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house situated on an L-shaped plan. It is a one-storey building with attics. The front facade has two window bays, featuring casement windows with lattice-leaded lights. A central boarded door provides access. The roof is tiled, using old tiles, and incorporates two gabled dormers.
