Description

Monkstreet Farmhouse is an early 17th-century house, with alterations and extensions dating to the 18th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a red plain tile roof. The house is two storeys high and features a gabled cross-wing at the north end. The front elevation has a four-window range of double-hung vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars. There are red brick chimney stacks, including one dated with a plaque inscribed "IHS 1754”.
