Description

Taylors is a 15th-century hall house located on Takeley Street. It features a crosswing at the west end and is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a red plain tiled roof that is half hipped at the east end. The building has two storeys and one storey with attics, and it includes a four-window range with modern leaded casements. There are also two gabled dormers. A late 16th-century red brick chimney stack with two diagonal shafts is present.
