Description
This is an early 19th century pair of gate lodge houses, originally situated as access to Bassingbourne Hall. They are constructed of stuccoed brickwork, featuring grey slate hipped roofs. Each lodge is two storeys high, with a single window range, now fitted with modern casement windows. They have semi-circular arched entries flanked by pilasters. Decorative dentilled eaves are present, and lean-to extensions have been added to the east and west sides of the lodges. The east lodge also has a flat roofed extension on its west side.
