Description
Nos. 8 and 10 (H. Bradley) are shops and flats dating from the 17th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a peg tile roof that is hipped at the northern end and gabled at the southern end. There is one dormer featuring a small pane casement window with a segmental head. The first floor includes two old mullioned and transomed windows with leaded lights, along with two double hung sash windows that have moulded surrounds and small panes. The ground floor features two 20th-century projecting shopfronts. No. 10 displays 17th-century plaster quoins, window dressings, and eaves with base moulding. At the northern end, there is a rear wing with a large stack positioned astride the ridge line.
