Description

Avondale Cottage and Burton Cottage are 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered cottages located on the south side of Burton End in Stansted Mountfitchet. They are one storey high with attics and feature a four-window range with iron casements that have glazing bars. The roofs are tiled and include two gabled dormers and a central chimney stack.
