Description
Lashley Hall is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 15th century, with alterations and additions in the 16th and 17th centuries. The building comprises a 15th-century cross-wing, a two-storey early 16th-century range adjoining it, and a 17th-century extension that incorporates part of the original hall and forms a further cross-wing. The front facade has a four-window range of 19th-century vertical sliding sash windows, some of which have sidelights. A simple canopy over the front door is supported by pilasters, and features a rectangular fanlight. The building has 16th-century and 19th-century red brick chimney stacks. Rear elevations include 18th-century vertical sliding sashes and 19th-century casements. Internally, much of the original timber frame remains, including stop-chamfered and heavily moulded beams. The site is moated.
