Simmonds is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered cottage located on Thaxted Road in Debden. It features a cross wing added at the west end and has been renovated. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has a thatched roof that is hipped at the east end, including one dormer on the front.
