Description

Broctons Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with substantial alterations made in 1810. It has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high with attics. The south front features a six-window arrangement of double-hung sash windows with single vertical glazing bars. A modern date panel displaying the initials R.N. and the dates 1810 and 1937 is present. The north block has casement windows. The roof is tiled, with a central square chimney stack, and a coved eaves cornice on the south front. The interior retains original panelling.
