Description

The boundary wall and gate located on the west and south sides of the public gardens between The Close and number 4 in Saffron Walden date from the 17th century and later. The brick boundary wall on the southern side of the garden, which faces the pathway to the churchyard, is partly constructed of 17th-century red brick, with additional brickwork added later.
