Description
This barn, likely dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, stands 10 metres southeast of Brook End House. It is a very unusual open four-range barn, with gabled roofs covered in red pantiles. Some of the gables have been filled in, but two remain open to the front and one to the side. The structure utilizes timber storey posts at each valley, with arched braces connecting to the tie beams. The roofs are constructed using a collar and side purlin system.
