Description
Little Thatch and the adjoining cottage are two cottages dating from the 17th century. They are timber framed, with parts plastered over weatherboard and parts weatherboarded. The cottages have a red tiled roof with two levels and a flat-headed dormer on the right side. There are red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The buildings are one storey with attics and feature three small paned vertically sliding sash windows. The central left side has a two-panelled, four-light door, while the centre right has a six-panelled door, all with pentice boards above. Inside, there are stop-chamfered bridging joists, through bracing to the walls, vertically boarded doors with ironmongery, panelled doors, and original stairs leading to Little Thatch.
