Description

The gate piers located 20 meters south-east of the south-east corner of the Church of St Nicholas are from the 19th and 20th centuries. This pair of 20th-century brick gate piers features cast-iron 19th-century copings topped with ball finials. One of the ball finials was previously situated on the pier at the north-east entrance of the churchyard. The eastern pier marks the end of the southern boundary wall of the churchyard and the flank wall of No. 25 King's Quay Street.
