Description
Fleet Hall is a house with several construction phases, featuring a rear range that dates from the 17th century or earlier and a front range from the 19th century. The front range is built of plastered brick and has a hipped grey slate roof, while the rear range is timber framed and plastered with a red plain tiled roof. The building has chimney stacks on the left, right, and two at the rear. It is two storeys tall with a cellar and has a six-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. The entrance is off centre to the right, featuring double doors, each with two panels, and a semi-circular fanlight above with a simple surround. Inside the front range, there is a staircase with stick balusters and a moulded open string, along with six-panelled doors. The rear range includes an inglenook fireplace and a very heavy chamfered bridging joist, although other elements of the frame are obscured by modern decoration.
