Description

There are two adjacent head and foot stones located in Shopland Churchyard. The head and foot stones commemorate Peter Lodwick, who died on December 29, 1718, and his wife Margaret, who died in 1727. Both stones feature scrolled sides and heads, along with central foliate scrolls. The footstones are inscribed with "PL 1718" and "PL 1727" respectively. The church itself was demolished in the 20th century.
