Description
The village lock-up and stocks, located adjacent to the churchyard, are believed to have been built in 1775 and were repaired in 1914. The structure is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a red tiled roof that is gabled towards the road. On the left (west) side, there is a small metal grill. The lock-up has a vertically boarded door secured with two strap hinges and a padlock, and it is reinforced with crossed metal straps. Inside, there are stocks on the floor, and a board above the door reads "Village Lock-up and Stocks."
