No. 34 High Street is a shop and flat dating from the early 19th century. The building is timber-framed and rendered, featuring a concrete-tiled hipped roof behind a plain parapet and a stack on one side. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range, with large 20th-century extensions at the rear. The front elevation includes three small-paned, two-light casements on the second floor, while the first floor has three 12-pane sash windows set in moulded surrounds. The ground floor features a 20th-century shop front with a central entrance and a deep fascia. The first floor was not accessible for inspection.
