Description
Brick House Farmhouse is an 18th-century house that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed with red stretchers and blue headers in Flemish bond and has a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building is a single-span range facing southeast, featuring an internal stack at each end. At the rear, there is a 19th-century lean-to extension that runs the full length of the house, with a slate roof forming a catslide and an internal stack.
The farmhouse has two storeys and attics, with a two-window range of 19th-century casements that have segmental arches made of alternating red and blue bricks. There is a similar first-floor window opening above the door, which has been blocked. Additionally, there are two early 19th-century sash windows with marginal lights in gabled dormers. The entrance features an almost central half-glazed door with a simple canopy above it. A string course runs at first-floor level, and the gables are topped with corbelled copings.
