Description

The monument, located approximately 5 metres east of the east wall of the chancel at the Church of St. Peter in Great Totham, is a chest tomb dating from around 1855. It commemorates Mary Turner and Elizabeth Cooper, who passed away in 1862. The tomb features a red brick plinth and a stone base slab, with rectangular mouldings on the side panels that include inscribed and foliated oval central panels. The high stepped top is adorned with a lidded vase.
