Description

The yard pump located at the rear of Number 4 on London Road in Maldon dates from the early 19th century. It features a painted timber case, a lead spout adorned with decorative roundels, and an iron curved handle. The pump is currently positioned against the wall of a garage outbuilding, but it was originally situated within this outbuilding over a deep well.
