Description
Moot House, a former vicarage built in 1841, is a two-storey building with three bays, constructed in stock brick with a Flemish bond pattern. It features a hipped slated roof and prominent eaves, along with four stock brick chimney stacks. The first storey has three sash windows with vertical glazing bars, stone sills, and straight gauged arches, with three lights on the left and right and two lights in the center. The ground storey includes a porch supported by two stone Doric columns, leading up four stone steps to a double-leaf door, flanked by three-paned hornless sashes on either side. To the right, there is a contemporary extension that is also two storeys high, featuring a double range of three matching sashes and a hipped slated roof. Inside, the building retains plaster cornices and the original stair and handrail.
