Description
The Ministry of Defence Building L133, located at the Royal Gunpowder Factory, was constructed in 1879. It is a magazine building made of English bond brick, featuring two red brick bands. The structure has a rectangular plan and is a single storey high. Originally, the entrance likely had a porch, which has since been removed. There are blocked segmental-headed windows on the north and south sides, and two brick buttresses on the east side. The building was once served by a canal to the east, which has now been filled in. It is part of a group with Buildings L135 and L136.
